The Company Magnus Medical Software, a privately owned Australian company, was established in 1988 to develop and market Pacecare, an innovative computersied pacemaker follow-up system. The earliest version of Cardiobase quickly followed in 1990. The company has been active in the British marketplace since 1991. The Australian government export market development agency, Austrade, first reviewed our export activities in 1996 and has provided export offset grants for each application submitted since then. Magnus Medical Software has clients in Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, England, Wales and New Zealand.
Magnus Medical Software develops leading edge medical database and administration solutions. We work closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cardiac registrars and residents, cardiac technologists and technicians, department managers, administrative, secretarial staff and associated information technology and biomedical engineering personnel to ensure a complete solution is provided.
Magnus Medical Software has extensive experience in developing and supporting multi-user patient database and reporting systems. Pacecare, Cardiobase and their sibling programs are designed for busy hospital departments and offer a wide range of features for ease of use and functionality. With over fourteen years experience in patient data management and building on over 27 years experience in the medical industry, Magnus Medical Software offers effective solutions for cardiac and other patient related data management. In 2000/2001 the back-end database system was changed to Client-Server SQL format, further expanding the potential development and connectivity of the Cardiobase system. In 2003 a version for web deployment was released.
