Here are some of the latest announcements about Magnus Medical Software and Cardiobase.
January 2012: Cardiobase for the Apple iPad2. Cardiobase 7 development for use on the Apple iPad2 and also as a Cardiobase ‘Lite’ version for lower specification workstations and networks is under way.
November 30 2011 Royal Perth Hospital goes live with Cardiobase 7. "The Booking module is really easy. Cardiobase 7 is a very user friendly system' -Dorothy Marko Head of Dept. October 2011: Magnus Medical Software is moving into new premises on the 24th October 2011. The new address will be 5/739a Main Road Eltham 3095. The new phone number will be 03 9439 0221.
August 2011: As well as being at Stand 74 at the CSANZ 2011 meeting in Perth from the 11th to the 14th August, we were a sponsor of the satellite 1st ANZ Congenital Cardiac Imaging Conference.
July 2011: Cardiobase PAS interface to new Wales Myrddin system goes live at Singleton Hospital. Also, Dr. Martin Heatley informs us he used data from their Cardiobase system extensively in the preparation of his paper. Cardiobase was the only cardiac data system in the Trust able to provide the required data. July 2011: ADT interface goes live Royal Derby Hospitals NHS Trust
June 2011: The Women’s and Children’s Hospital in South Australia goes live with Cardiobase 7, upgrading from Cardiobase 98. “The upgrade went very smoothly. I was really pleased how it went. There has only been minor tweaking here and there since people have been using it and no major problems. Aidan was fantastic to work with while he was in Adelaide. May 2011: "The new Cardiobase booking module makes booking patients a breeze and enjoyable. The fact the other staff around the department and the hospital can see at a glance what is happening in the labs is fabulous. Work flow is more efficient due to less phone calls between staff. The ease of moving patients' appointments and being able to track the changes makes our job much easier. The notes page means that communication between staff and patient is all documented." CSANZ 2011 We will next exhibit at the CSANZ 2011 59th Annual Scientific Meeting to be held in Perth between Thursday 11th August and Sunday 14th August 2011. We hope to see you at Stand 74 just near the Poster Display area.
December 2010: Cerner interface completed for Austin Health
December 2010: Cardiobase at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital is upgraded to 7.2
November 2010: Cardiobase at Derby Hospitals NHS Trust is upgraded to 7.2. “I wanted to say what a fantastic job you have done in working with IT and our staff to get Cardiobase Version 7 up and running at our Trust. Its been a vast job, which is not something I was personally aware of until I got involved in this project . The new version is much improved.” Dena Muihead Principal Clinical Physiologist
October 2010: Cardiobase 7.2 released, supporting use in Internet Explorer 8. Cardiobase now has in excess of 80 modules.
August 2010: Development of interfacing with Cerner commences.
July 2010: Postal barcode capability has been added to the Cardiobase feature set. We are informed by a client that this can save them 15 cents per letter printed.
July 2010: We welcome Sydney South West Area Health Service to the list of Cardiobase users. Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, Concord Hospital, Bankstown Hospital, Fairfield Hospital, Campbelltown Hospital and Bowral Hospital will all use a central Cardiobase system.
March 2010: Dunedin Hospital in New Zealand goes live with Cardiobase 7
January 2010 We are currently working through a number of upgrades to Cardiobase 7 for our clients.
August 2009 The integration of Cardiobase and Siemen’s syngo Dymanics, which sends Dicom worklist messages from the Cardiobase Booking module and in turn receives completed syngo Dynamics reports back into Cardiobase has been completed.
July 2009 Cardiobase-iPM interface completed for Otago Healthcare.
July 2009 Cardiobase-BOSS interface completed for Barwon Health.
May 2009 Cardiobase-iCM interface completed for Derby Hospitals NHS Trust
April 2009 - Cardiobase-FujiPacs interface completed for Bendigo Healthcare
February 2009 Barwon Health goes live with Cardiobase.NET, replacing the CRS system previously in use. Cardiobase modules include Booking, Billing and Correspondence.
